Matt Funkhouser, Head Golf Professional
Matt joined the Glendarin staff in 2008. He graduated from Ferris State University in 2001 with a B.S. in Marketing with Professional Golf Management as a minor. Matt has been a PGA member since 2002. He has been an Assistant Golf Professional at The Country Club of Indianapolis, Chicago Golf Club, and Fort Wayne Country Club.
Shawn Floyd, Assistant Golf Professional
Shawn joined the Glendarin staff in 2010. He graduated from Trine University in 2009 with a B.S. in Management. Shawn played for four years on the Trine University Varsity Golf Team. He was previously at Petoskey-Bay View Country Club, Forest Akers Golf Course, and Zollner Golf Course.
John Thompson, Golf Course Superintendent

John joined the Glendarin Staff in 2001. He graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Plant and Soil Science with a specialization in Turfgrass. John has been a member of the GCSAA since 1995. His previous experience includes: Scovill Golf Club in Decatur, IL, and Fort Wayne Country Club. John is married to Melissa and proudly has five children (Emma, Charlie, Jack, Betsy, Henry). During his time off John enjoys to spend time with his family and cooking.
Marty Harris, Assistant Superintendent
Marty joined the Glendarin Staff in the fall of 2000 during the initial phrase of construction. He graduated Illinois State University with an Accounting degree, then attended ASU for agronomy. His previous experience includes: Edina Country Club in Minnesota, and several courses in Arizona including Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale. Marty is married to wife, Taryn, who is a local business owner and their family includes two children (Austin, 9 and Olyvia, 2).
